They have been performing in several music shows but the music video just came out I think 2 days ago. It’s Super Junior‘s follow up track to Mr. Simple. The track is called A-cha.
Honestly, I was not really blown out by the new song. It sounded like Super Junior M’s Perfection. But the good thing is it has a different sound from the SJ Funky beat. I do like the way they focused on the voices of Super Junior. I mean I have to admit not all of them have stellar voices as individuals, but as a group it works out. I do love the fact that they gave more powerful notes for Sungmin to sing. Though his voice is not the same as KRY, but he has the fourth best voice among them and its but fitting to give some recognition.
Because I saw and heard the live performance first before the video was released, I didn’t know that Heechul was still part of it. I have to admit its nice to see that even before he enlisted he still made a video. And Siwon is rapping??? kk 
Anyway, I am not too impressed by the video. It’s still simple. So is th choreography. I really want to see them dance like they did during Sorry Sorry and Bonamana. I guess the boys are sticking to the simplicity concept this time. But they are a dance group — I would love to see them dance more! With better choreography!!!

Oh and did you hear about Hangeng’s (Hankyung) retraction of the his complaint against SMent?? Omo!! I can’t wait.. I hope he gets back with SJ!!!

Mr. Simple – Super Junior

Ok so I have been fan girling for about a week now… unfortunately, I had no time to post my fan girl moment because I was too busy processing some papers.. sigh, I hate red tape!
Anyway, I cannot not have this video on my site. KK As a Super Junior fan, it needs to be on my site! It’s their new track, Mr. Simple.
So, this is said to be part of their SJ Funky sound, and it’s supposed to be the last among the three. SJ Funky is the same beat like that of Sorry Sorry and Bonamana. But among the three, if you ask me, I still like Sorry Sorry. Now when I first heart this song, it’s like… uhmm there’s too many things going on. But the more I listen to it, it gets to me, and I am suddenly singing along. What I like about it though was the lyrics. Unlike the other previous Suju songs which have been promoted, it’s talking about not worrying about what others think about you and just to be yourself. I like those kind of songs, and it’s certainly refreshing.
When I saw the video, it’s very simple, the dance is very simple. Even the part where Eunhyuk does his usual dance, just the break dancing shattering the glass was different (But yay for having Donghae, Sungmin and Kyuhyun for the back up!). I am not sure but I think I was expecting a more complicated dance routine like they did with Sorry Sorry and Bonamana. It’s you had a more complicated choreography. Some of my friends think that it’s been done haphazardly maybe because due to the busy schedules and activities of the boys. I think they work too hard and sometimes they deserve a break.
But anyway, I am a fan, so it doesn’t stop me from liking the song. They have started promoting already and I can’t help but fan girl when they perform (especially Siwon’s costume during their comeback on Music Bank, reminds me of his character in Athena — I can’t wait for Poseidon!). So now I have a reason to stream the music shows again! kk

Super Junior discovers Korea’s Special Secret

It was on the news some weeks ago that Super Junior has become the ambassador for Korean food…
Today while searching on yt, i found this…
Yup it’s 4 of them promoting Korean food. If I understand correctly, they were promoting bibimbap. It’s the Korean food made of rice, vegetables and some meat. Bibimbap comes in different kinds and I think the boys were talking about them. Unfortunately we only get to see 4 boys (Heechul, Shindong, Yesung and Leeteuk). I guess the others are busy with their activities in their subgroup Super Junior M.
I love that Korea made them the representative to promote their food. I love Korean food and it’s one of my favorite things to eat in the world. They are healthy and satisfying and full of flavor! kk
Suju is perhaps one of the Kpop stars that has a large international fan base… so I think it’s a good they made them the representative… and maybe that’s why they surpassed the 5 year jinx given to korean idol groups — even with all the trials that the boys had over the last 2 years.
I just hope they stay longer…

More Than Words – 5tion (MV)

Going back in time for a Kpop song. And if you are a Super Junior fan, I bet you’ve seen them sing this song. That is actually how I got to know this song.
It’s from a group called 5tion (pronounced Oh-tion) and it’s More Than Words (not to be confused with the song sung by Extreme).

They were a popular boy group way back 2001 when long haired guys and baggy jeans were the trend. They had a few songs, but I think this was the most famous among them, famous that some idol groups has rendered their own version in different programs. And one of those group is Super Junior, particulary Leeteuk, Sungmin and Donghae.. Check out this video (before it gets removed)…
I like the beat of the song, truly a song the early 2000s. It sounds like a song the boybands from the 90s would sing. And because I love the songs of the 90s, I had a natural reaction to the song~~ I liked it!

And if you’re curious what happened to the group, they have disbanded in 2006/2007. But just last year, 3 of the members got back together, still using the name 5tion. They came back as ballad singers, minus the rap. They still sound good though. Hope they make it big again!

Just a video of Super Junior Happy singing Yoriwang and Sunny. This was sometime in 2008. I wasn’t crazy over them yet! I probably did not know them yet by this time.. But I really like this sub group because its.. well as their name suggests.. a really happy one! I think I love the bright and cute concept. ^_^

This is my favorite Super Junior Happy song! kk The lyrics is fun and the MV to this song is very funny and cute at the same time. I’m sure Kangin’s fans will be delighted to see him in this video!

The boys (Super Junior) may not have won the highest award in the Korea’s Golden Disk Award (imagine the Korean Grammy Awards), but they gave a wonderful performance! (the highest award went to SNSD)

It was reported about a month ago, that they have been featured on CNN Talk Asia. At that time, it was just part of the whole interview.
And so I bring you the whole CNN Talk Asia feature.
It was Siwon and Leeteuk who represented the members, but you can see most of them in the video. It was fun to see watching on TV how crowds go wild during their concerts! kk And yes, that really happens!
Kudos to them for spreading the Hallyu wave!!

Posting like crazy once again! kk and enjoying it! I say I miss blogging too much!
The song I’m posting now is one of my favorite tracks from the 4th album of Super Junior (come on.. give the fan girl a break! kk ^^). It’s called Good Person (좋은사람) When I first listened to the song, I automatically liked it… though I did not understand it at first. Just the fact that it had a good melody and it was sang by them was reason enough for me.. ok but that was the biased me talking! kk but hey it’s my blog and i can blabber about anything right?
My boys recently sang it in Yoo Heeyeol’s Sketchbook… and the host was pretty happy about it because it was in fact a song he compose and he sang some years ago.. Well when i saw this variety.. that shocked me… because I did not know that it was a revival of that song.. but the boys did a pretty neat job for it i might say… and the what they did to the melody was good… and for eunhyuk fans… YOU SHOULD SEE IT!!! kk
For those who are curious about the original version this is it.
I might say that it’s not only the melody and the fact that it was sang by my favorite boys that is nice about this song.. the lyrics are beautiful too.. oh well i go gaga over heartbreak/heartache songs… and this fits that category perfectly! kk ~~~ yoo heeyeol’s lyrics.. i will give it a 5 star definitely! And the concerp of the original video is cute too so thumbs up for Toy (Yoo Heeyeol)

I haven’t visited this blog for a month now.. but today I had the itch of visiting it.
Though I will still be on an indefinite hiatus (I can’t give as much updates as I can), there might be times like these when updates will keep coming!~~~ I wish I could write as much as I did before though… but soon.. maybe I will…
My favorite boys have finished their promotions for their Bonamana album… and though it’s once again too late to post this song.. I’m still posting it… because there is no one else like them… well for me that is…
No Other – Super Junior
Though they came back with the SJ funky style… the boys have released a track that is refreshing for the Korean summer heat (well it’s summer in their counrty right?). This has become one of my favorite Super Junior songs. And the video is so nice!!! kk I would love to have one of those proposals thank you! kk just thinking aloud… but.. WOULDN’T YOU??? I MEAN REALLY WOULDN”T YOU??? Ok I’m blabbering?
So which one is your favorite? For me, I chose 3… siwon (ahaha here goes my siwon bias… and i have yet to make his get to know you!), yesung (loved the balloons!), and kyuhyun (i’d die to have a wall like that!!) kk~~~
But anyway, this song is catchy and nice… i’m just a little sad that it won only a few awards.. but i think the dominant style of kpop is really the dance kind.. they like the upbeat kind of songs.. oh well.. its still suju.. so me likey the song…
